One Rupee Thali Project: A Meal for Everyone

We believe that it is unacceptable for anyone to go hungry in our country. That’s why we initiated the One Rupee Thali Project, which operates a daily kitchen serving a full meal to anyone in need for just one rupee. Currently, we have two kitchens in Saharsa, Bihar – one is located at Sonbarsa Raj Sugam Chowk and the other at Simri Bakhtiyarpur Station. Our kitchens feed between 350 to 400 people every day. By making a donation to our project, you can help us in providing nutritious food and dignity to those who are struggling to survive. We invite you to join us in our mission to put an end to hunger and poverty in our community.

Rahat Roti Rasoi, an initiative by Nageshwar Bimla Foundation, was launched on 20th October 2025 (Diwali) near Tata Memorial Cancer Hospital, Parel East, Mumbai.
Our mission is simple yet deeply impactful — to ensure that no cancer patient or their family sleeps hungry.

Every day, more than 150 cancer patients and their homeless families, who travel from outside Maharashtra for treatment, rely on us for a hot and nutritious one-time meal. Many of them live on the footpaths, with no shelter, no income, and no support system. Amidst their difficult fight against cancer, a warm meal becomes a source of strength, dignity, and hope.

While we cannot change every hardship they face, together we can make sure hunger is not one of them.
