Our Initiatives
One Rupee Thali Project: A Meal for Everyone
We are committed to ensuring that no one in our country goes hungry. Through the One Rupee Thali Project, we operate daily kitchens that provide nutritious meals to those in need for just one rupee. Currently, we have two kitchens in Saharsa, Bihar – one at Sonbarsa Raj Sugam Chowk and the other at Simri Bakhtiyarpur Station. Together, these kitchens serve between 350 to 400 people each day, offering not only food but also dignity to those struggling to survive.
Education for Orphanage Children: Offering Hope
Education is the key to unlocking opportunities and building a brighter future. Our education programs for orphaned children aim to bridge the educational gap by providing access to quality education and creating an inclusive learning environment. We empower these children with knowledge, nurturing their dreams and aspirations to ensure they have the tools needed to succeed in life.
Borewell Pumps: Empowering Farmers in Need
Access to water is crucial for farming, especially in rural India where water scarcity poses a significant challenge. Our Borewell Pump Project provides essential borewell pumps to farmers, ensuring consistent irrigation and enhancing agricultural productivity. This initiative not only boosts crop yields but also strengthens the economic stability of farming communities, fostering sustainable growth.
Our Impact
With over 1,125 donations and support from more than 20 villages, the Nageshwar Bimla Foundation has successfully served over 10,000 families. Our efforts have provided essential food, improved educational opportunities, and empowered farmers with the resources they need to thrive. Every contribution helps us extend our reach and deepen our impact, creating lasting change in the lives of those we support.
Our Team
Our dedicated team of volunteers and leaders are the backbone of our foundation. Led by Directors Babita Kumari and Arun Kumar Gupta, and Coordinator in Chief Manish Gupta, our team works tirelessly to implement and expand our initiatives. Their passion and commitment inspire us to continue our mission of creating a better, more equitable society.
